Well folks, I picked up a Glock 22 today. Don't think I can be ready to go for tomorrow night, but I'm planning on being out there to pick up some components from Gary and to see how things run. Is there a posting anywhere of the rules for the Thursday night matches?
Hopefully I'll meet a few of you out there. I'm a pretty big (round) guy and I'll be with my 16 year old son.
If you see me wandering around aimlessly, come up and say 'Hi!'... ;)

Ron

Can anyone tell me who the guy was out there this past Thursday that makes Kydex holsters? I met him, but am drawing a blank.

Thanks!

Ron

Any limits as to how many people can shoot these? I'm thinking about trying to rally some guys (realistically 3-6) at work to go shoot this either this week or next.

Will I need my ID? I managed to forgot my wallet today and won't have time to go home between work and shooting.

Barring family 'situation', I'll be there, then! I'll be the poser in the Under Armor polo and olive 5.11 cargo pants, burning through four 16 round mags per stage [smilie=anim_bounce.gif]

Glad you are coming out and I'll watch out for you. You will have a good time. I don't get there until about 6:15. If you are still there I will be the one that has the blue scope mount on his pistol.

I'll have an XD9-Tactical (the 5" barrel model). You getting there at 6:15 presents an interesting question: How are the stages run/scheduled? If I'm there right when it starts at 4:15, will I need to be there until 7?

Martin

There are 4 stages. If you have limited time and don't want to wait you would select the stage with the shortest line. You can do the stages in any order. Depending on how many people are there when you show up you total time could be from a little less than an hour to as much as 2-3 hours.

The match goes until everyone is finished (usually about 8:30) or in very rare cases the shooting is cut off at 9pm. Signup is from 4:15 to 7pm. If you finish before 7pm you can signup for a Fun Gun ($5) and shoot the match again so bring enough ammo if you want to try that.

I'll be there tonight right when they open signups to shake down my gun for an out-of-town match. I'll be the tall fat guy with the unfinished open gun and red mag pouches. If you need any help I'll be glad to do my best. Azyooper usualy wins this damn match though.

Sounds good, I'll see you there. I plan to be there right when signups happen also. Had a momentary panic when the Wallyworld by my work was out of EVERY 9mm (but had .40 for days!) but managed to track some down at Big 5, so it's Game On! This will be my first time doing anything other than punching holes in paper so I'll take all the advice and guidance I can get!

For some reason, I stopped getting the match results email a little while back. I gave them my email again yesterday but haven't gotten anything. Maybe they haven't sent it yet...

Does anyone mind forwarding the results from yesterday to me? j.sternberg@gmail.com
