This one might be a good one to have a permanent spot on ArizonaShooting.

This place has different locations, mainly Phx. and Tucson areas, this is how it works, show up to the location, give them $10 and get a big box or bring your own container and you fill it up with whatever vegetables are available, sometimes they may put a limit on things but you get a bunch of stuff!

It's best to go early for a better selection.

We did this this year and man do you get a lot of stuff for $10. $100 gets you unlimited stuff for the year as well.

Thanks, someone told me about this a bit ago and I never looked for a link. Now I will give it a try.

boss gal and I hit the one on north 19th ave, albeit a tad late, we did walk away with a fair share of produce, for the sawbuck,
we will hit it earlier next time, awesome chili peppers and banana peppers by the box, hehehe, and gaggle of tomotoes.
happy days are here again.

Thanks for the post!! Wife and I stopped by the one off Porter road in Maricopa. Picked up a load of peppers, cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes. Definitely going to keep an eye on the schedule to make this a regular stop. Will need to stock up on quart mason jars for canning.

I hit the one at 56th St & Dynamite and brought home a big box of tomatoes, onions, peppers, & tomatillos. That should keep us in salsa for a bit. I think I'm going to need to stock up on some canning supplies as well.

That list covers all of the ingredients in my basic vegetable food group!

I will check out the one in Mesa on the 19th.

Another place that has excellent produce for great prices is superstition ranch market in Mesa.

I'll second that recommendation for Superstition Ranch Market in Mesa. Been there many times and always found a good deal on produce.

The wife and I are also going to stop by the Mesa M.O.M. the 19th on our way to visit the Arizona Survivalist Show at Falcon Field.

This sounds great. A lot of things can be frozen raw, or cooked..then frozen.
