Det 1 C co 5-159AVN (AZ Dustoff) back from Afghanistan. We were attached to C co 1-171 to plus up there 12 aircraft Medevac company to 15. We supported the Marines & ANA/ANP in Helmand Province Southern Afghanistan. You.may have heard of a blackhawk crash a few days ago. They were our escorts into LZ's incase enemy was in the area. They only had 240H's but it's more than what we had. They're supporting our replacements now. A lot of people don't realize bad weather will kill you as well as the enemy. Fighting season is picking up again and unfortunately more Americans will be killed or lose legs/arms from IED's. Respect their selfless service & their families. Afghanistan is a hard place, especially if you're a kid. Till I have your wounded/ AZ Dustoff: Stealing from the reaper.

Thank you for your service...sadly I agree with your forecast about future casualties, it is a shame.
