How's it goin everyone? I need a little help. I've looked all over online and can't seem to find the correct size of Uncle Mike's IWB holster for the Glock 19. Everywhere I look it's people saying size 15 or 16. I want to know the exact one that will fit the Glock 19. I don't want to buy one that is too small or too big. So do any of you have this holster for your g19? Let me know, any help is appreciated.

These holsters are "generic" and by design have some crossover.

If you want the "exact one" uncle mikes is not what you are looking for. Either way a G19 has a 4" barrel, which would put you with a looser fit in a 15, snug in a 16. You can go to sportsmans, or another big box store and test fit

Glock 19 fits in the Size 5, but the Size 5 is a bit long.
I'd try the Size 15 before the 16 because both the Size 5 and 15 are "large autos", while the 16 is "medium and large autos".
Now I don't consider the 19 a large auto, but it does fit in the Size 5, other than length, which isn't that far off.
Also pictures of the Size 16 look like it may be too short.
Either way let us know which size you go with and how it fits.

Have you tried any local shops that may carry them?
I've seen them in shops here in Phoenix. Maybe call a few and see if they stock them.

Thanks for the input. What do you guys think of the size 1 (3"-4" Medium autos)? Being that the g19 is a 4" barrel. I would rather have it fit snug then loose. So that its not moving around.

Hey WestPhx, thanks for posting the pics! Makes it alot easier to see the comparison. So I guess size "1" is out. Out of the size 15 & 16. I'm leaning a little towards getting the size 16. Only because I dont want the size 15 to be too big.

I used a size 15. Great for 1 and 3 o'clock position. Rides a little deep but that helps not printing the grip. They just seem to wear out too fast for me so I went to a DeSantis 88.

Oaktree- Being that you have used a sz 15 for your glock 19 and you said "it rides deep". Would you recommend me getting the size 15 or the smaller size 16?

It depends on how easy you want your drawing ability to be. The 15 offered me a little more concealability at the cost of having to "dig a little" to draw. If the 16 rides higher so you can immediately touch your middle finger on the trigger guard for a quick presentation, I think just carrying it in general will cause problems since they are a very light holster and you'll have more of the pistol hanging above the belt. Another consideration in the same league is the Maverick holster http://www.dillonprecision.com/content/ ... k+holsters , basically same thing, beware the outside of the belt clip model, you need a perfect match belt or you'll be drawing the holster out with the pistol.

Fit's better in 15 than 5, but either can be used.
