What exactly merited the locking of this thread?

Just curious. I can't find anything that crossed the line or that was offensive.

Not on topic enough.... Maybe?

Would be nice is people around here had the guts to say why they lock threads. And others not tell someone into "ad crapping" (which oddly enough didn't work).

Because it wasn't about anything. "Have you heard of Alex Jones" isn't a topic, really. He starts discussing something about guns, well, that's different.
