So I've read many posts about the problems sig Mosquitos bought one anyways. Nearly all of the posts I've read say once the weapon is broken in it will run like a dream. 300 round later I'm still waiting for the dream part to happen. A friend suggested rubbing a bit of toothpaste on contact points and racking the slide about 1000 times to clean the action up. Any other advice? It seems like the spring is too tight for consistent full slide movement. Ammo is the cci high velocity.

My friend had one that done the exact same thing you describe. I don't know what ammo he had, but I handed him some CCI mini mags to try. He loaded it up and had no issue. His gun likes high velosity ammo. I don't know what the difference between the mini mag and the stuff your shooting is, but you might check.
Also make sure the recoil spring is wet with lub. Lube the slide and hammer with oil.
If all else fails, a lighter recoil spring may be needed.

Oh I'm using the same ammo. Good advice about the spring.
