I'm using good once shot brass.
I'm using Hornady. 308, 125 gr. SST #3019
I'm using a RCBS resizing die.

So I resized 20 pcs of brass. Then I put new primers in. Before I put powder in I checked the bullet and I was able to push the bullet all the way through the next into the belly of the brass. It's obvious my neck size is too large but I can't figure out why.

Any thoughts on what I should check or what I'm doing wrong?

I've never loaded this caliber before but I don't seem to be doing anything I haven't done on my .30-06, .243, etc.

7.62x39 doesn't use .308 bullets.

Take your resizing die apart and mike the expander plug, some are .311 and some are .308, my die set comes with both, make sure you have the proper one in.
My mini 30 uses .308 so it depends what you're loading for if you need the .311.

The question has already been answered. 7.72x39 bullet diameter is .311.

It would be good to check the actual groove to groove bore dimension of your gun also. My new Norinco SKS has a .0313" bore that I size cast bullets to .314" for. The .312" Hornady bullets shoot decent out of it also.
