I have a bunch of polished and sorted 223 and have a spare SBR lower, so thinking of going the 300 blackout route for a sub gun. Anyone making brass on here before I hit up one of the mail to places?

In addition, has anyone tried the new 300 BO powder? I will be doing an 8 inch barrel and loading 200+ gr subs with the hopes of it cycling suppressed :)

When you build it, use the 300 blackout Nemo spring. Mine cycles with or without a can.

I also use that spring on 7.62 subsonic and they cycle with a standard buffer. I painted the end of mine blue so I can pop one in the 7.62 and run subsonic then return to standard.

No help on the brass though my source for cutting/deburring is no longer available.

Stear clear of any forgein 223 head stamps. they tend to no cycle reliably once converted to 300 Blackout. stick with American brand 223 head stamps... LC.. Remington.. Etc.

When folks have there own brass it's going to be hard to find someone to just convert it for you. Many moons ago I used to make those, and traded, till my hands developed Peripheral Nueropathy which gets painful.

If I were you I would just order from 1 of the many vendors out there.

I just bought 2K of converted ready to use 300 brass online for $100 per 1K, and found a bunch of places that will modify yours for $75 per 1K including return shipping. Tons of guys selling and making it on the 300 blackout forums.
