I called some in while hunting Coyotes one morning in unit 32 back in 2012. Killed one, but the others got away through the brush. She was delicious. Been back in that area several times since trying to track them down and get some more of them. Near as I can tell they just kept on running. Haven't found any sign of them since.

Wow.... 1000 feral hogs but less then a couple hundred feral donkeys in Arizona.
Lets see, I have never witnessed a feral hog alive in Az or dead from a vehicle hit on the road in Az. But I see live feral donkeys everyday while at work in the desert and a dead one on the 303 & Aguafria wash once a week. :s
Which problem really needs to be dealt with first Mr. Government?

Oh ya, I like the way how my tax dollars were wasted on chain-link fence from Anthem to Pioneer Rd. along the I-17 as well as the yellow caution donkey signs everywhere. They say that their going to continue the fence south of the 303 to prevent the vehicle and donkey crashes. :s

Short story version, whacked 70 hogs in a wildlife refuge from a chopper.

I was in Havasu in 2002 building the Albertsons Grocery store, and the sales rep at my electrical supply store showed me some pictures of some he had taken, and told me we're to hunt them I went out but never saw one but did find sign and scat and we're they bedded at one point, on the border of the mentioned last azgfd kill site, if someone want exact details or location pm me
