Now the price is higher than when I bought mine (2 years+ ago)

I just found the best RDS I have used so far on my MKE Zenith Z-5P pistol:

Accuracy, Reliability - No Compromise

A friend of mine bought the HK SP5K as soon as he found one. Looking at his the welds look like they were done by Helen Keller. No paddle mag release, no threads on the barrel, no 3 lug adapter (and good luck finding a real HK "K" barrel if you want to run a can) , and no front push pin lower. All of which the Zenith MKE has direct from the factory. So when it comes to HK and the current MP5 looking offering, they make tons of compromises especially when people will buy them no matter how featureless they are. Obviously this model is marketed by HK to the "Dumb Americans" as they see us. I was ready to dump my Zenith and buy the SP5K as soon as possible until I saw his. I will say the paint over park finish is nicer and it does say HK on it but that is about the only things better. Everything else is TOTAL COMPROMISE.
My friend ended up buying an RCM barrel with threads AND 3 lug and he had to pay to tear out the neutered HK barrel and install the US made one on his pristine "no compromise" HK so he could run a can or even the HK flash hider.
My Zenith has been 100% reliable, looks great welds are perfect fits up with and and all HK parts and accessories I have tried and it even has a paddle release! That being said, If HK EVER releases the SP5K with a proper barrel and maybe a paddle release the way they make them for everyone else I would be all over it.
