Bottom Gun, you may end up getting the scope before myself so if you could post some feedback on how it works out for you, itd be greatly appreciated.

I know what you mean about SWFA. I’m learning from other friends that SWFA customer service has a less than stellar track record.
At least the other vendors who advertise list this scope as “coming soon” or otherwise indicate the scopes are not yet in stock.

I have also heard availability dates of June or July for this scope so we’ll just have to wait and see. I signed up for a notification from Midway.

I will say that I will NOT be doing business with SWFA when I am finally able to buy an M-308. I prefer to deal with vendors who have a bit of integrity.

Yea I called a few places including Nikon and they gave me the same thing, July time frame. Can you believe the opticstalk forum had the nerve to edit my post about this same topic and tell me I cant use a competitors name because I said I was gonna go to midway while on the SWFA site. Then someone had the nerve to post a link to the M-308 and I was like my a** that thing isnt in stock and I know it. shiesters. I dont know if I wanna wait for the Nikon, im looking at the Vortex still but the model with the exposed target turret, or a Minox ZA 5 4-20. Heard the Minox glass is good but dont know about tracking and overall durability.

The M-308 4-16×42 Nikoplex with Rapid Action Turret technology is an incredible new system based on the .308 Winchester/7.62×51 NATO round. It simply and effectively allows the shooter to dial-in elevation anywhere from 100 to 800 yards away in less than one revolution.
