Elements of the 7th Fleet are heading towards the 5th Fleet in Bahrain today. I wonder if this has something to do with Iran's posturing this week?
A couple of carrier groups right on their door step might straighten them out.
Between their 30 year old F-5's and F-4.. (And a few F-14's) Iraq had a better chance of standing up to us in 1991.
Iran's air forces will have about 30 minutes of play time I think.
