has anyone tried the gear from US PLAM? level 3a for under $200??? im a big dude, if i get it, its gotta cover my man- boobies...and the area it covers looks small. if anyone has one, how much surface does it cover? [smilie=az_flag.gif]

US Palm is good stuff.

It's a plate-sized piece of soft-armor (10x12"), in a plate carrier. Also, it's only 1 piece (front). THe carrier won't fit both the soft armor and a hard plate...it'll be too tight, so you'd need a stand-alone plate to use it as a plate carrier.

SGC sells US Palm armor to civilians.
Personally, I'd be concerned about the lack of side protection.

Like in anything there is a trade off. wight/mobility vs. protection. Some guys like the smaller plate carriers.

yeah they do, but only thru SGC. [smilie=az_flag.gif]
