I just bought a "2-in-1 Convertible Hand Truck" from Harbor Freight in Tempe. For some reason it is not in the online catalog, but this is a similar one from Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-800-lb-Capacity-2-in-1-Convertible-Hand-Truck-CHT800P/100071520?cm_mmc=Shopping|THD|B|0|B-BASE-D28I+Inside+Garden+Other&mid=cULgekXk|dc_mtid_8903vry57826_pcrid_73598573568047_product_100071520
HF price was $65, minus 20% coupon, net $56, plus the $8.50 milk crate and two bungee cords @ $2.50 each.
I will use the pneumatic tires that it came with until they fail -- inevitably at the most distant point -- then grumpily get the solid tires I should have gotten in the first place.

Thank you all for your help.

If you have a pickup truck... I just throw the wheel barrow in the bed... I think i only paid 45 buks at home depot for it...plus.. You can use it for those weekend yard chores :)

FWIW in case anybody cares.
The milk crate was not big enough to hold my targets. Went back to Home Depot and got a larger plastic box, same shelf, also $8.
That worked OK, but already there is a crack in the bottom.
