I had an SBR for about 2 years. Never had an issue with hand slippage. On a semi-auto, I just don't see that happening, even with an inexperienced shooter. I know Prebans used a FVG on his full-auto because of this, however.

I didn't do anything to the gun at all. Trigger was standard, but smooth. The wood stock was comfortable to shoot, but the underfolding stock was way cooler. Safety manipulation and mag changes were fine, even being a Southpaw.

I will say this: Once I fired a full-auto one, my SBR became boring and that's why I sold it. If I ever get back into guns enough to get back into NFA, a full-size Uzi is the gun I want.

Finally got my mags. Cleaning the outside is a cinch. Any recommendations on a brush to clean the insides? I see mag brushes, but they mostly look like they were designed for short pistol mags.

There are probably better solutions, but I just used a rag stuck through the mag, that I ran back and forth in both directions. If any scrubbing seemed necessary, I used a toothbrush (I think I paid $1 for a 5 pack at one of the Dollar stores.)

There has to be a brush that exists for some other purpose at Harbor Freight for like $4. Something fairly rigid, yet skinny and flexible enough to hit all 4 sides at the same time.

BTW, the 50 mags finally arrived after getting lost in the mail for 2 weeks. Of the 50 mags, 47 of them are in used, but G-VG condition. Three of the mags had a lot of rust. Soaked the bodies in Pepsi overnight and all it did was remove the park. The rust isn't budging, but they will function.

The insides of the mags are really gritty. Most of what I removed from the outside was just dirt. I suspect that's what is on the inside.
