No, DC Industries is Dan Coonan. The receivers only began being sold within the last 2 years, so that makes this a kit build rifle. ( :EDIT: I was wrong, this an earlier Coonan receiver, marketed through the now defunct FAC Corp.) But since the cheapo dealer introductory specialty price was $250 for one of these when they first came out, and kits with barrels cost about $250,...there's your $500 price right there. But ad to that the scope mount and the cost you would pay someone to put this together,...and you got a pretty good deal,...IF the rifle was built well.

But I have to admit, I'm jealous. That is a coll looking rifle. If I had the scratch, I'd tell you it is nothing but crap and offer to compensate you for it and take it off your hands. Those 30-round mags ain't cheap either.

It came from a friend of my dads. He was looking just to getting rid of it and sold it for 500. I orginally was look for a bushmaster but this looked like a awesome deal and couldn't pass it up. Thanks for your help. I contacted coonan inc. and Dan Coonan is going to contact me back on it.
