$25k, and sometimes yes. Depends on which gun, and how carried.

I'm deeply saddened it doesn't meet your approval. Please see my signature for further info.

I used to carry a Fobus and have taken a few spills with it and not lost my gun. Now I use Blackhawk active retention holsters. That photo above was taken on a day when I probably fell off a good 20x. Not a scratch on my P220.

He is carrying it wrong, he needs to carry it slung muzzle down, that way he can slide it around and use it if needed. I guess he is new to OC.

I'm not sure how well any particular type of holster would do especially if you are wearing gloves. I am considering an ankle holster for my M&P40c or maybe a shoulder holster?. I ride a sport bike and feel like my usual iwb holster wouldn't be too comfortable especially moving around on the canyon roads. Any opinions? My current iwb is a Crossbred Super Tuck.

I carry an XDM9 and use a CompTac Minotaur IWB at about the 4-4:30 position and don't find it overly intrusive on my riding style, even when steering with my body a lot (shifting side to side, hanging off a, er, "little," etc. [smilie=icon_mrgreen.gif] ). Given the natural position one assumes on a sportbike, I DO think it prints a bit more, but if you're wearing gear like a good little rider should :D , it'll cover it up just fine.

It's funny though... People can't see a 400-800 lb. motorcycle but strap a 2 lb. pistol to your belt and suddenly you're visible!

Yes, I've noticed that too. Suddenly no one tailgates me or tries to "merge" their car with me.

Maybe we should get together and have an OC Your Rifle On Your Bike Dinner?

when i ride atv's, i change between open carry on my belt, or a drop leg holster. When i ride in my rzr, the belt holster is very uncomfortable, so i find that a drop leg works the best for me.

Standard hip OWB or IWB.

A bike mount is of no use to me because my strong hand is always going to be using throttle or brake, and I suck at offhand shooting.

Some old Indian (?) cop bikes from back in the day had their throttles on the left handgrip IIRC so the coppers could skin a smokewagon while chasin' the bad guys.
