Jesus I can't believe I just read that whole thread. I'm sorry I ever brought up the idea of someone OC'ing an AR pistol.
I want those 15 mins of my smoke break back. You couldn't even tell what it was. People are bitching and crying about something they didn't even see or participate in. Doesn't bother me one way or another.
I see Clyde's point though. People always say they aren't taking anymore infringement and it seems like it's a line drawn in the sand instead of concrete. If people don't like it that's their problem.
For them, it's simply bowing to the libtard PC image of a gunowner. Professional, I dig ditches, lay pipe, pull fiber and Cat 5/6, so what's professional dress for my work? I'm sure it's not the same as someone who sells cars, a mechanic, a realtor, etc. I suppose I have to cut my hair, shave, wear new name brand clothes that don't attract attention, and blend in like the sheeple according to them?
I won't, and these OC dinners are for everyone to display and excercise their rights as they see fit. Now, should it ever come to a safety issue similar to the one RJ experienced in a resturaunt not long ago, then that person needs to get a boot in the ass and run off from any similar events. And that's the important part of these OC dinners, it's just a bunch of people from all walks of life that happen to take a common interest in protecting our constitutional rights, and are willing to put themselves into the public spotlight to expose and inform. Yes, we're going to scare people, hell, I scare people without wearing a gun, but it's not our problem they fear us because we have a OC firearm. It's their fear, and an irrational one at that. The more we do these dinners, the more people will hear about our actions, as we educate more and more people on our constitutionally guaranteed rights.
Who knows, I may just break out that AR pistol again in the near future, though, I'm gonna have to get a different carry rig, that thing weighs a ton and I'm gonna hafta find a better way to support the weight
And for Ranger SXT, as a moderator, it's quite out of protocol for you to be saying the things you are on here. You don't take criticism well and I don't care to be banned for simply speaking my mind to you when you talk outta your ass.
Have a great gun carryin' Kenpo day
