Sorry about the audio, it's got a really sensitive mic and when there is a lot of background noise it gets scratchy...I'll use my normal camera with video from here on out...

I'm in for whenever? I have a gig in Cali coming up, but it's the only thing that would keep me from coming.

I was under the assumption that we were trying to go south to include Tucson as well? But either way count me in.

LOL, I was just over on barfcom, and read the whole thread, what a hoot,
I rarely go over and chat there, as I have found if you are not a member of the so called "clique" you are fodder for flaming.

I do however frequent the C & R listings as they occasionally have decent offerings.
AS for the posting, its clear you have ruffled feathers, to me I rather call them "sphinters", just can't help my self its who I am, I've never had a problem calling assholes what they are.
Its clear anyway that they think you (clyde) to be the anti gun public relationship destroyer, anti public etc, etc etc.
Who gives a hoot, except for the humor with which people involved will be able to read into your fueling it.
AS for the several individuals who feel the need to propogate the anger towards you and what WE are doing, is foolish.
I say keep feeding the trolls, and we can all go over and enjoy the parte that is that other site.
I've met some nice folks over there, and its funny I've never recieved any PM"s telling me they don't agree with anyone.

Anyway, one things for sure they will not show up, nor participate for fear of being involved in something remotely successful, (Oh yeah forget about them being a target, since they will be known gun carriers).
The OC dinners are a success regardless of what a couple internet wanna be's think, even now some are probably rethinking why they didn't join in the festivities in the beginning,, their fear is they will not be recognized for their participation, there fore it is bad for all.
Hey just an old fat guys opinion. let me know if I can help fuel the stupidity that runs rampanat among the non believers.

So enough of the horsefeather chat, lets go forward, can we break the 50 mark at the next one, heres hoping, I'm trying to attract as many as I can, we'll see, I'd think if only the members who fell out of the last meet due to events beyond their control had been present, we would have easily made it past the 50 mark.
Here's hoping, and to all the folks involved, great job, great attitude, its what makes it work, for all of us,
I for one enjoy the gatherings if not just to eat. hahah, not like I've missed many meals.
Be careful now, I'm a sensitive guy and might take offense and tell some nasty stories about you.
again Thank to you and thank yourself for practicing what you preach as apposed to the yada, yada's flaming our festivities.

Don't want to step on anyone's toes here, but today I made a call to the Hometown Buffet at 1312 North Scottsdale Road and spoke for a few minutes with the manager.
Told him we have been at the Golden Corral for the last few times but would like to try his place, as it's a more centralized location and has easy access off the 202.
(It's on Scottsdale Road, just south of McDowell. Not on Res Land and no alcohol is served there).
Yes, SCOTTSDALE. I figured it's high on the 'shock factor' for OC.

(Can you imagine the look on their faces when they see Kenpoprofessor? LOL!)

Told him we would have a crowd of between 40-55 people and he's got a private dining room available and being held for us until he hears back from me. He knows we will all be open carrying and he's cool with that.
Tentatively, I am thinking July 11 or 12 might be good, but maybe we can take a poll and lock the date in quickly, which will allow us to 'spread the word' about when and where we are having this, instead of knowing at the last minute. They close at 8:30 pm on Sat and 8:00 pm on Sunday, but the manager told me it was cool for us to stay an hour after that, if we wanted. So if this is the place, maybe a 6 pm start time would be good.

If we go there, I also got him to commit to a 10% discount for everyone in our group, so each dinner will cost a total of $11.00 even (total, including tax).

Your opinions, please.

Damn Dude,
that sounds Sweet, what a double bonus, open carry in snottsdale and a 10% discount!

What days does Hometown have the kids eat free with paid adult meal? Sorry i missed last one but Ex-wife called me Sat afternoon and was broken down on other side of Blythe. So my nice ass picked up parts, drove out there and fixed Thermostat and hauled her trailer back. Good news is now my kiddos live about 1332 miles closer to me.......

Thanks for doing all the fieldwork for me. So much for me volunteering. 8)

If the consensus on this one is to meet in the East Valley, we need to make a solid effort for the August dinner to be in Casa Grande, or at least in a location where more Tucson folks can get involved.

Sorry, didn't mean to overstep, but after talking to the manager at HTB in Scottsdale, and seeing how they were right off the 202 so both sides could attend, and getting the discount, how could we refuse? [smilie=icon_lol.gif]

I agree, August should be in CG.
I'll let you guys handle the reservations from here on out. 8)

I've never seen a more anti-gun gun-people than on the "other" side. Its like 2A is a privilege as long as you don't upset the libs. I'm tired of trying to reason with them. They should take a trip to lake Okeechobee (spelling?) in FL where people OC huge revolvers (and I mean HUGE) for hogs and you see 'em at the loca BK or McD and no one gives a hoot. An AR pistol says dead coyotes to me, but, that's me. What's wrong with telling the people just that? What? Hunters get hungry and go to GC too. BTW Clyde, in all seriousness, did anyone had a negative reaction at the gun (not you)?
