I have seen this proof mark on a AR-15 carry handle and upper. Other than that there are no other markings to indicate who made it.
Can someone help me out here?

I believe that's called the "Cardinal": My Ameetec has that on the upper.
I cannot recall where it was "Forged"

Thanks! I thought it was rather strange to have a proof mark such as that on the carry handle from my Bushmaster AR. But it makes sense now.
