Has anyone got any extra table space they might want to sell? I have some ammo and odds and ends I'd like to sell.

I'm looking forward to it! I haven't been in a few years, but it's the one show I think is worth the cost of admission.

It was pretty weak last year. I predict it will steadily decline year after year.

If this was just blatantly off-topic, I wouldn't have done anything, but you put it in the classified ads...

They've all declined. At least this one is still going.

Would've been a real barnburner had the Hildebeest won.

I think prices might be better this year due to the election results.
Always worth a look.

If you can't find a good enough deal to pay for your parking and admission at this show, you're way too picky.

SAR is simply the back building that specializes in auto weapons and tactical gimmicks. Otherwise it's the same old beanie babies, beef jerky, chinese jewelry, and dealers with prices over retail (that you can buy cheaper in their store) and costs a ton to park and get in.

I missed last year as I was out of town that weekend. Looking forward to going this year, and damm the entry fee and parking, always one of the best shows of the year.
Enjoy'm while you can, the old timers are dying off, and lotsa cool stuff just doesn't show up anymore.

SUre miss the good ole days

I will probably go as I've not been top a SAR Show in awhile and am also looking for some parts for a current project. The response to my request here for a source for USGI 14.5-inch M4 barrels did not pan out.

May stock up on some other items as well. Like Flash, when I'm looking for a deal I can usually find a couple. Oh, and will of course be on the lookout for the overpriced mixmaster Garands that are "certified by Duff" (even though the seller can't produce the letter) or the ones fresh from the CMP that still have the tags on them (but have usually had all the good parts swapped out).

it is what it is... if your only shopping interests are looking for a new Glock 17 and some Magpul part, yeah not worth going.

$17 if you print their $1 coupon off their website, $8 parking, or $3 to park across the street.

I went today and had a good time, but don't feel the need to go to another show anytime soon. About the same stuff as last year, but AR15's GALORE. I didn't check ammo prices, but Miwall had Varget and H4350 jugs and Berry's bullets at reasonable prices. I picked up a flash hider from Smith Enterprises ($40), a folding adapter from Doublestar (ACE) ($60), and a chome bolt carrier from Young ($135). I figure I saved ~$80 on these parts after the cost of admission. A good way to spend an afternoon with a friend.
