Phoenix and surrounding areas are supposed to get windy tomorrow so keep that in mind if you are bringing targets (plan on making them wind proof).

Ed and I will be there around 5 p.m. so don't be surprised to see a couple of white Toyota Tacoma's out there. We'll reserve the main spot for the group... See you all tomorrow.

After hearing that there will supposedly 40 to 50mph winds I am hesitant to commit now. I'll be sneezing for days -that blowing dust really gets me good. I know where the shoot is anyway so if the wind dies down...

Thanks for the call Fbarms got paged at 1am that night and worked till 8am slept for 2 hours and worked till 6pm that day. Damn servers didnt want to stay up. Wanted to go wife thought I was crazy but when I couldnt remember the safe combo I decided it wasnt safe for me to drive the few miles and discharge live ammo in low light lol. Next month for sure!! Although I am feeling the need on Sunday to go out and blast a few....

Good times last night everyone! By the end of the shoot, we had a total of 9 people that made it out despite the very windy conditions. Looking forward to an even bigger group next shoot, we will probably schedule for a Saturday morning so we can accommodate those that have not been able to make it due to weekday scheduling conflicts.

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, I was exhausted from work and had to get up and go to work again yesterday morning. Hopefully I will be able to make it next time.

Hey guys, I have shot out in that area for over 5 years.That 1st spot is so trashed now.It never use to be like that.Oh well, I find tons of good brass for reloading...I can't complain.I usually shoot about a mile back from that area.Don't have to worry about any unwanted lookers or amateurs.When the other side off the pipeline road opens again I hit those spots from time to time also.

Interesting - are your other spots as clear and flat as that first one?

Id say yes.That first spot is very limited to short range rifle.Secondly, it faces south.Theres nothing worse than staring into the sun all day.The spot in the back faces north with a good 200 to 300 yard range depending on where you park.It has some targets there...a couple propane bottles,tire rim and steel plate swinger.I would know I put them there a few years ago.If you find it and use it...please don't trash it.About a month ago some amateurs brought out 300 soda cans and shoot the piss out of them and just left them.My wife and I cleaned it up.But I got all their brass.
