By now you should all know that our president in fact eats dogs. Well, he used to anyway. I'm sure he probably would again given the chance just like I'm sure he still practices Islam....from the Holy Quiran as he refers to it.

I really didn't expect anyone to come to the dog eater's defense on this one. I guess you're right he was only six but little Mitchie Romney or Georgie Bush or Ronnie Reagan never ate dogs. You know why? Because they were in America when they were growing up! As Americans with American values. I think that's one of the underlying points here.

Well if it is about strange or un-American activity, Mitt Romney's Mormonism is pretty deviant from the American norm and values. If you witnessed a pre-1990 Mormon temple ceremony or wedding I bet you'd be thinking dog looked tasty in comparison. For the record Romney was married in 69'.

You have to be a Mormon to read the church's own accounts and the accounts of literally thousands of people who have left? Not to mention the robust scholarship on the matter.

I don't particularly care about these ceremonies, but their existence is well documented by the mormons who opposed the major 1990 changes to the rituals. This isn't dissatisfied people leaving who you can pretend are lying to make the church look bad... these are people who are still mormon and who just think the changes should not have been made. Pretty hard to pretend that they are lying.

Also, anybody can read Smith's account of the rituals, which were followed until 1990.

id only eat small annoying dogs, and only if i missed breakfast that day and was really hungry. id also have no issues eating mormons.
