This is what happens when you buy the website software from North Korea...

Then you obviously have not been paying attention!

It's been that way for years. I'm no computer genius, but I can't imagine how it could be so bloody difficult to fix.

2-1/2 hours off is a lot. Perhaps it is an issue with the server itself in which case tech support would need to look at it.

Not really worth worrying about unless your business depends on it. :-)

You're right about not paying attention. I was looking at timestamps for posts yesterday and they were all over the place in relation to reality.

Every time I type "arizonashooting.com" into the address bar and the forum actually appears, I'm amazed. If the server crashed I don't think anyone with any power to do anything about it would notice for weeks.

You're right, it's just annoying and points to the greater "absentee landlord" attitude of the owners and administrators.

I was yelling. Perhaps someday a system administrator will see it.

On the top right underneath the "User Control Panel" link?

It's off by 1.5 hours.

But really, who cares if the time is off?

I do. I care. You should care. Everyone should care. It's like picking up a piece of garbage on the street in front of your house when you go to check your mailbox. Do you? I do. Because it bothers me that someone threw a piece of garbage on the street. Nobody seems to give an "F" about this forum. Look at the Classified Ads section. There are hundreds and hundreds of posts that are things that have been sold days, months, YEARS ago that the administration doesn't see fit to delete. I'm surprised they actually delete spam posts every once in awhile. This forum just continues to slide and one day someone --whomever is paying the hosting bills-- will decide that whatever income they're getting from the vendors here isn't equal to the cost of hosting and they'll just call the hosting provider and say "I'm not renewing my contract" and pewwwww of it goes. How many firearm forums have simply disappeared that you can remember? I can think of a few and they all started down this same slope. Anyone notice that it is the same 30 people who post and the occasional randomly returning member like myself? Its because of the lack of care taken in the administration of the forum. New members come here, poke around, and they don't come back because the lack of care of administration of even the simplest things is obvious. Other times they get massively trolled by a few of those same 30 members and are never disciplined like would happen at any other forum. The system time being massively off is a small but glaring example of a greater problem.

Look at the clock on your computer right now. Is it wrong by 1.5 hours? No. Because you'd fix it if it was.
