Be it known, in this year of our Lord Jesus Christ two thousand and fifteen and throughout this bountiful realm, that the villainous coup d'etat attempted against our glorious leader (long may he live) by the forces of darkness and chaos failed completely after it was smitten by truth, justice, and the mighty hand of our protector and guarantor of our liberties himself.

Be it also known that anyone who posts in a spam thread (this action being the source of much lamentation and the gnashing of teeth) shall be banned for not less than a month.

Well done, Sir!!!
You may want to 'sticky' this one lest anyone inadvertently does so out of frustration.

I guess that brings a new meaning to "making it a 'sticky' ".

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not so sure I'd be proudly proclaiming "victory". The site was buried under a deluge of trash, and was forced to shut down for 1.5 days.

Sounds like a successful attack to me. And it definitely pointed out the need for some security upgrades.

But, I like SPAM! I like it grilled or fried to a nice light brown, then used in stir fry, or with my SPAM and eggs and rice at the McDonalds in Kahala!

Dare ye knave cast doubt upon our leader just as he is becloaked in the Glory of his finest victory? Have you no respect for the strength of the barbarian hordes knocking at the gate?

If this was "his finest victory", I'd hate to see what defeat might look like.

Just to be clear, I'm not disparaging the efforts of the admins...I'm just saying, "surviving" is not necessarily the same as "winning".

Our leader has never been marked with defeat.

I guess Waterloo was a "tactical withdrawal".
