Happened to go there this morning. What a treat. Great vendors.
Bought some bread and pastries, real bacon instead of that water-injected stuff they sell at grocery stores, couple of ribeyes fresh off the cow, some produce including squash blossoms (to be stuffed with goat cheese, as a side dish to the steaks tomorrow night), some frozen enchiladas -- chicken/green chilis for tonight's dinner, soon to be followed by pumpkin pie enchiladas. Ate the pastries there, with a large coffee from Berg's for only $2. Need to go back next week to try the beignets. There were lots of food trucks lined up, but lunch grub and I was there at breakfast time.

Looks like they've grown a bunch since the last time I was there.

Thanks

Went there again this morning, tried a beignet from the Beignet Babe. https://www.facebook.com/BeignetBabe/
After I ordered, she got out the dough squares (2), put them into the deep fryer, and fried them on the spot. A light dusting of about half a pound of powdered sugar, and there you go. Too hot to eat, though. I had to wait five minutes or so before I could eat them.
Also bought a loaf of bread from Proof Bakery, and the best bargain of all, large coffee for $2 from Bergie's. I have a feeling I am about to become a regular.
